QA ENGINEER

Allow me to introduce myself, I’ve been in the IT industry for more than 5 years.

For all those years I’ve spent in the industry, I realized how important it is to test so that the results of my work would be better and more efficient.

The last two years I’ve decided to start working on testing applications and writing automatic test. I also take part in educating people, developing awareness on how important testing is, and training people who already are in the testing world.

Before I started testing I’ve been a part of the website development world and understand of HTML and CSS very well.

In order to successfully enter the QA world, I’ve started from the most basic things such as testing types, writing test cases for different projects, specifications and test strategies.

I began to write basic automated tests using a selenium web driver, but as time passed, I began writing the more demanding tests that contained a lot of data checks and verified functionalities of applications.

I worked on different projects for known companies from around the world but I have the most experience in gambling applications. Gambling specific area where besides testing the applications themselves I also tested devices like card readers, ticket printers and other supporting devices.

I use Java for writing automatic tests in combination with Selenium WebDriver, I also use Cucumber.

Cucumber is a software tool used by computer programmers for testing other software. It runs automated acceptance tests written in a behavior-driven development (BDD) style. Central to the Cucumber BDD approach is its plain language parser called Gherkin.

I wrote many automatic tests based on Positive, Negative and Regression test.
